Everything in this world is created with a purpose.
For Example, Sun is created to provide energy, which is beneficial for plants. Earthworms are making the soil soft and the cow fulfills her purpose by providing us milk.
All of them are serving the humanity, As Quran says:
“It is Allah who created the heavens and the earth and sent down rain from the sky and produced thereby some fruits as provision for you… and has subjected for you the ships to sail through the sea by His command and subjected for you the rivers. And He has subjected for you the sun and the moon, both constantly orbiting, and has subjected for you the night and the day.” (Quran 14:32–33)

If everything is serving us than it means that we are serious creation of Allah. Quran Says that:
Did you then think that We had created you without purpose, and that you would never be returned to Us?” (Quran 23:115)

We’re given important Purpose of Life. And this Purpose will decide our Future and Eternal Life.
Because Something is valuable only when it fulfills its purpose.

For example: If a buffalo was created to provide milk, it becomes less valuable if it doesn’t fulfill that purpose.
Similarly we’ll be only valued if we spent our life fulfilling purpose. Otherwise Allah will replace us:
And if you turn away [i.e., refuse], He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you. (Quran 47:38)
Now majority people think that life is just about earning money, getting fame and power and fulfilling desires.

They waste their life on these materialistic things and regret later on their deathbeds.
Because Money is just a tool to fulfill your Purpose. It is not a destination.
For example, If you’re flying from Iran to Pakistan in a plane, then plane seat is not your destination. It is just a tool.
Similarly, money can help you get shelter, food, clothing, etc. It is important for survival but not a purpose of life.

So What Is True Purpose of Life?
The Purpose of life in Islam is to Worship Allah.
And our ultimate goal is to seek His pleasure through living a life that pleases Him.
- And I did not create jinn and mankind except to worship Me.” (Qur’an 51:56)
- Say, “Surely my prayer, my sacrifice, my life, and my death are all for Allah—Lord of all worlds. (Quran 6:162)
Before I continue, You need to understand meaning of Worship.
It is not like offering “five daily prayers” or “giving charity”.
Worship (Ibadah) is living your entire life according to commands of Allah to seek his pleasure.

For example, If you’re making a honest business deal, helping your parents, resisting a haram temptation or raising a good child. Then You’re worshipping Allah.
Companions and Family Members of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) lived for this Purpose.
They fought battles, made sacrifices and lived a life to please Allah (s.w.t).
For Example, Imam Ali (RA) lived and ruled with justice, fought oppression, and gave his life in prostration for this Purpose.
Similarly, Imam Hussain (a) sacrificed himself with his family in Karbala for this Purpose.
But what we’re doing? We are moving away from the true teachings of Quran, adopting western culture, and going through a downfall !!!
Without Purpose, We’re like moving bodies without a soul who’re wasting their time and energy on useless things.
And such people will have two regrets on deathbed. First they’ll regret leaving everything behind (money, status, etc.). Secondly they’ll will fear the day of judgement.
Unsuccessful in both worlds.
But those who fulfill their purpose are Successful in both worlds.

To fulfill purpose, you must know what is it by seeking knowledge.
1: Start with Knowledge – Learn Islam with Intention
To live a purposeful life, You need to understand all the basic rulings of Islam.
This includes staying clean, offering prayer, fasting, giving zakat and charity the right way.
We must know what is halal (allowed) and haram (forbidden).
This list expands on. You need to do it yourself.
I’ll recommend you to start with the Quran.

Allah says:
“This is a blessed Book which We have revealed to you [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded.”
— Surah Sad (38:29)
Start simple and understand just one verse a day consistently, You can expand later.
Once this becomes a habit, gradually move to Tafsir (explanation) from reliable sources.
You have to feed you mind with Quran, Islamic Lectures, Books, or beneficial podcasts. This will make you learn about your responsibilities.
When you start learning Islam intentionally, you’ll notice your thoughts becoming clear.
Over time, you’ll see how the Quran is not just a book, but a manual for your life.
Now you’re ready for the next step.
2: Purify Your Heart – Learn to Control Desires (Tazkiyah)
Allah gave us free will — the power to choose between good and evil. But uncontrolled desires lead to destruction.
Here’s how Shaytaan traps people:
Texting → Attachment → Calls → Meeting → Zina
He works step by step.
Desires like these lead to heartbreak, addiction, and regret.
“But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and restrained the soul from [unlawful] desires, then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge.”
— Quran 79:40-41
You must control your desires and take small actions like:
- Cut off sin sources – unfollow, delete, block.
- Guard your senses – eyes, ears, thoughts.
- Break bad habits – fapping, music, binge-watching.
- Replace with good – Salah, Quran, learning, purpose

Also find good company of friends for better control.
This process will make you conquer yourself. You’ll find strength in all areas of life.
**3: Practice What You Know – Be a Real-Life Role Model
Now it’s time to live what you’ve learned. Not by preaching, but by showing.
Start with simple actions:
- Be truthful, even when it’s tough.
- Lower your gaze, even if no one’s watching.
- Earn halal, even if it pays less.
- Speak with kindness, even when tested.

Because real Islam is how you act in daily life. You actions should match the knowledge you learned in first step.
For example, if you know that Riba (Interest) is haram in Islam, you need to stop trading with interest. Even if your business is totally dependent on interest.
Yes, you’ll face trials — rejection, mockery, maybe financial loss.
“Do people think they’ll be left alone after saying: ‘We believe,’ without being tested?”
— Quran 29:2
But these are signs that you’re walking the right path.
Lead by example.
People will notice the change in your personality.
4: Share the Message – Give Dawah
After becoming a role model, you need to spread Islamic like this article, or even better.
It’s a duty for everyone. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said:
“Convey from me, even if it’s one verse.”
— Bukhari 3461
You don’t need to be a scholar for this Dawah.
Start from your family and friends. Change the discussions to Islamic topic and guide them towards real purpose of life.
This is like planting seeds. You’ll start a new legacy in your family and Allah will Guide them (INSHALLAH).
“You are the best nation… You enjoin good, forbid evil, and believe in Allah.”
— Quran 3:110
If you see anything non-Islamic (zina, music culture, mockery of deen) in your range then try to stop it with full force.
“Whoever sees evil, let him change it…”
— Muslim 49
Not with hate. But with wisdom, patience, and courage.
To spread this Dawah on large scale, you can use your skills like Writing, Designing, Speaking, Editing, etc.

You can run multiple social campaigns to spread this message.
Take part in Islamic Projects and Communities doing the same work.
Da’wah is not a moment — it’s a mission.
In the next step, we’ll talk about working for a bigger vision — reviving the full Islamic way of life.
**5: Work Toward an Islamic System of Justice
Our ultimate goal is to establish Allah’s system on Earth.
Because Islam is complete way of life covering justice, economy, education, leadership, society, etc.

But today even Muslim countries are running on man-made laws, not Allah’s laws.
For example:
- Riba is everywhere but Islam is against it.
- Leaders rule with lies, bribes, and injustice
- Zina is promoted as love
- Hijab is mocked
- LGBTQ+ is forced in schools
- Family system is falling apart
We can’t wait for governments alone. Change begins with us — in our homes, our communities, and our actions.
Indeed, Allāh will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. (Surah Ar-Ra’d 13:11)
We have to speak truth, educate people, unite the ummah and build Islamic systems like schools, business, apps, media.
This stage is complex and may require generations. But we’ve to play our role.
Because Islamic system will surely establish before End of this World. As Quran says:
“It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to make it prevail over all religions, even though the disbelievers hate it.” (9:33)
And Imam Mahdi (a) will surely come before the end time.
“The Mahdi will be from my Ummah. Allah will send him to make justice and fairness prevail on the earth just as it was filled with oppression and injustice before.” (Musnad Ahmad 10898)
Before that time, we have to make efforts. This will make path of Imam Mahdi (a) easier.
I also need your suggestions in the comment section. I started Rise of Muslims Movement for this purpose.
Conclusion
Everything in this world is fulfilling its purpose of life, the sun gives light, cows give milk, even tiny worms are doing their job. But what about us? Allah didn’t create us without a reason.
Allah gave us a purpose: to worship Him, live by His guidance, and establish justice on Earth. Yet most of us are just chasing money, fame, and comfort, forgetting why we were sent here. Real success comes when we live for Allah — by learning our deen, controlling our desires, living like real Muslims, guiding others, and working for His system.
That’s how we gain value in His eyes. If we don’t change ourselves, our condition won’t change. Allah clearly says: “Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.” (Qur’an 13:11). So take the first step. Even if it’s small. Because one sincere step towards Allah can transform your life — and maybe even the world.
